LAOLA1 joins OneFootball Channels for worldwide distribution

ADMIRAL 2. Liga matches now available on connected TVs through OneFootball TV.

Berlin, Germany and Vienna, Austria – July 31, 2026 – OneFootball and LAOLA1, Austria's biggest sports publisher, today announced a strategic distribution partnership that will make LAOLA1 available through OneFootball Channels from the start of the new football season.

At the centre of the collaboration is the domestic ADMIRAL 2. Liga, for which LAOLA1 has held the exclusive media rights for the past eight years and will continue to do so in the coming seasons.

For fans, the partnership means an even more flexible and convenient way to follow the “LigaZwa” across devices.

LAOLA1’s new subscription models range from individual match tickets and a flexible monthly subscription to a full-season pass priced at €49.99. Through the partnership with OneFootball, the season pass receives a major upgrade: Customers will now be able to watch every match of the season on their connected  TV devices.

LAOLA1 will be available through the interactive channel store on OneFootball TV on mobile applications, tv.onefootball.com, and can also be downloaded as an application across major connected-TV platforms, including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Samsung Tizen and LG webOS.

When purchased on LAOLA1’s website (www.laola1.at) , each season-pass holder will automatically receive a personal activation code and simple instructions for accessing LAOLA1 on OneFootball TV.

“We are fulfilling an important and entirely justified request from our community,” said Johannes Wiesmann, Head of Content & Product at LAOLA1. “As the digital home of the LigaZwa, our goal has always been to continuously improve the viewing experience, whether fans are following on a smartphone, laptop or smart TV. Through our partnership with OneFootball, we have achieved exactly that.”

LAOLA1’s live match coverage with German-language commentary and other product enhancements such as an individual multi-view conference experience, free highlights, in-match stories, and other editorial textual and video storytelling around the league, its clubs, and players will engage the OneFootball community on LAOLA1’s OneFootball channel.

“We are delighted to welcome LAOLA1 to OneFootball Channels,” said Yannick Ramcke, General Manager OTT at OneFootball. “This partnership will help increase the visibility and reach of the ADMIRAL 2. Liga through our interactive channel store across more than 75 countries, while adding connected-TV access for both the OneFootball community and LAOLA1’s direct customers.”

Going forward, LAOLA1 content will also be distributed outside of Austria through OneFootball TV. This will give Austrian football additional international visibility across one of the world’s leading digital football platforms.

In addition to video content, LAOLA1 will publish written coverage of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, the ADMIRAL 2. Liga and Austria’s national teams through its dedicated channel on OneFootball.

“Our ambition is to make our digital content available wherever football fans choose to follow the game,” added Wiesmann. “Whether through social media or media platforms, we want to be present wherever our audience is. OneFootball is the ideal partner for that mission. Together, we are improving the experience for our existing users while making Austrian football visible to new audiences.”

Through the strategic partnership, LAOLA1 and OneFootball are taking another important step in their shared mission to make Austrian football more accessible, visible and engaging across digital platforms.
